Oh! it’s me!

It’s been weird but exciting this past week to have had my face on three different blogs, first with my style feature on Janette Lane, then as one of the outfit picks of the week from Lily Among Thorns, and today it was a lovely surprise to have been chosen as the Thriftanatic of the Week on Dearest Lou!

Thanks again to all three ladies for the mentions (and for my readers, do check out their blogs if you have a minute!) 

I’m still in that phase where certain things about blogging still feel a little funny, in a good way for sure, but still funny.  I mean, it is kind of strange to see these little outfit pictures of mine featured on other blogs, and lovely ones at that! - pictures that are snapped in my landlord’s backyard (only when I’m sure no one else is around) trying to keep their cats off me, and lately, freezing my buns off in the process!  I usually come back inside with my eyes watering and my hands all red and numb.  The things we do for fashion, huh ;)

I just wanted to say I’m so grateful for all the kind comments and encouragement I’ve received, especially lately.  I’ve been working hard at making my photography better and it’s been a lot of fun.  This is a creative endeavour that has proved to be a wonderful outlet for me.

You’ll notice there’s no outfit post today - I have not had my act together enough this week to get some pictures done yet, but I’ll be back on track next week.

In the meantime, I have some very exciting business to take care of today...

... and I’m not saying anything more about that yet :)  

Keep posted and there might just be some spilling of beans, shall we say, over the next couple of days.
