I seem to have this thing for finding great shoes at the thrift store lately.
First, there were the Steve Madden ankle boots.
Then, the fabulous vintage bright blue boots.
And now, this week, I present to you my newest thrifted acquisition: a pair of nude-coloured Nine West heels (in like-new condition).
A pair of nude heels is a classic staple in any closet because they are so easy to dress up or dress down. The cost of these lovelies? Twelve dollars. Not bad considering that to buy them retail, I would probably have paid a few multiples of that number!
If you're new around here, the idea behind this little series was to help me develop some self-discipline when I'm thrifting. Instead of going crazy and buying everything I lay a fancy to (without really thinking it over), I try to purchase only one thing. If I end up finding more than one irresistible piece, I generally just forego thrifting for a little while. All this is to avoid my closet gradually filling up with stuff that I don't need!

I love these shoes! Now for the wretched snow to melt so I can actually wear them...

Great find with these heels! I love the strap that crosses over your foot, so cute! I am always jealous of people who can find things at thrift stores, I very rarely can. I just found your blog through Style Elixir and am a new follower! I hope you are having a great weekend!
